Beautiful you. I know this year has been hard. Harder than you imagined it would be. After all, didn’t you do all of the work in 2016? You did. And it worked. There was just more to uncover. Trust me. I have been there too.
The last 2 years have been pummeling me with hard life lessons…. relationships ending dramatically, the realizations of exercise bulimia, disordered eating and diet addiction, PTSD diagnosis and the death of my Dad. All of this hardship and my body and soul refusing to let me return to the safety of denial I had been in. Since the age of 9, going on a diet and/or a hardcore exercise regimen was just the “control” I needed to bypass the difficult emotions I was experiencing. My soul simply could not/would not allow it anymore and I was forced to finally do the work.
Why am I telling you this now? Because you might be like me. Knowing that you are meant for something more and you’re held back by how you feel about your body, your weight, the space you take up in the Universe. Perhaps you’re okay with your body but you still feel out of touch with your soul…. you need to heal. You need to learn to put yourself and your physical and mental well-being first.
I don’t have all of the answers. I wouldn’t be typing this right now if I did. But I do know that I am on the right track and I do know that starting a diet on January 1st is not the answer. What we all need is to learn to take care of our WHOLE selves.

Please join me in January for a “Resolution To Heal”. A program designed for all of us to finally overcome our blocks to self-compassion and care and tune into your WHOLE health based on how you FEEL. Not a number on a scale, not the inches of your waist. A program designed to learn more about yourself through Yoga and the healing modalities that have helped me.
Our program will run weekly starting January 11th, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Every week our session will begin with a Healthcare Professional and/or Healer. We will talk with Body Image Experts, Nutritionists, Therapists offering Somatic Experiencing Therapy, Essential Oil Experts, Physiotherapists and my humble little offering of Yoga.
