Love a more athletic/fitness inspired approach to Yoga but it’s been awhile? This is class is perfect for total beginners or “totally haven’t done much moving for the last little while”… we get it, there was that whole pesky-Pandemic situation.
Yoga STRONG for beginners offers the best of both worlds! It combines the benefits of Yoga (mind, body, spirit) with the benefits of weight training (strength & cardiovascular). Adding free weights to your yoga practice can increase muscle awareness and boosts lean muscle mass and flexibility. Add a dash of cardio bursts to increase your cardiovascular endurance and elevate your heart rate ~ and your workout will nearly be perfect!
This 6 week series will run 7:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesdays, January 10 to February 14
