A slow-paced, very beginner yoga class for those with more “seasoned ” bodies AND/OR those new to yoga. Your guide, Kelly Tibbets, will ensure that the benefits of yoga are accessible to students of varying degrees of strength and flexibility and those of any shape, size or age.
The objective of Hatha 101 will be to help participants build strength and endurance, increase flexibility, and improve posture and balance. Perfect for beginners, mid-life and older adults who may benefit from a slower pace. Students will be encouraged to use props such as blocks or bolsters to ensure their practice is both comfortable and accessible. We want students to find the right modifications to suit their body’s needs.
Breath work, relaxation and meditation practices are included to encourage stress reduction.
Class sizes are small, instruction is approachable, fun & safe.
