Until I became a Teacher, I didn’t realize how many plus sized people stay away from Yoga because they believe it’s only for thin bodies. Even worse, I was so disappointed to hear stories of big people being shamed or made to feel less than when they have attempted to do Yoga.
Solution? CURVY Basics. Start with my Curvy Body and I right here. This class is ideal for those who have never stood on a mat and might feel a little nervous (or maybe even a lot). This class would also be ideal for a plus sized person that has done Yoga but is looking for more information on how to modify Yoga poses to work for YOUR BODY.
